about smucks
Hi, I'm Smucks -- an illustrator, occasional photographer, vintage toy collector, baker, and mom based in sunny Los Angeles. My work blends a love of whimsy, empathy, and offbeat humor, often drawing from everyday moments, political sympathies, oddities, and a slightly chaotic brain (thanks, ADHD).
Camp Dopamine is my personal shop. The stickers are made by me personally and the art prints are made by two small printers, one in Los Angeles and the other in Philadelphia.
In 2025, I decided to take a gigantic leap and jump all-in to my art. It's both scary and fulfilling and I thank you so much for supporting my work.
I'm inspired by nostalgia, human connection, and the delightfully weird. I make art for people who want to feel seen, laugh, and maybe find a bit of themselves in my illustrations. Some of my favorite things include: 1960s kitsch, midcentury children's book art, dive bars, board game nights, thrift shops, themed playlists, polaroids, picnics, and weird old motels.

xo,
Smucks
